I was pleasantly surprised once I set it up on my rod. The reel itself sets up on the rod easily and feels good in my hand. Casting is smooth but I was most surprised by how unbelievably smooth the retrieval was. Overall this product is definitely worth a try and most certainly worth the asking price.
